Cooking

I've discovered that I cook and crochet about the same.  I see a pattern that I like, take a look at it to get the basic idea and then change it up to make it my own.  In the Kitchen, it's no different!  I look through my hoards of cooking books to get the basic idea for what I want and then see what I have in the pantry and make it my own.  The only trouble with this concept, if the meal turns out good, I usually forget what I've done and therefore can't repeat.  So in that respect, this blog is an excellent source to retain what works and maybe what didn't.

First time Blogger

So my 13 year old daughter started this blog for me.  New to blogging, I am having a hard time figuring this thing out.  Not sure how to "Blog", upload pictures, make comments, or create links.  Wish me luck and hopefully in the meantime I can continue on creating "Anything Whimsical"!
